Celebrating Diwali with Sweets, Messages, Gifts & Happiness. Happy Diwali

AKGInfotech.com wishes its readers a very Happy Diwali

Diwali (or Deepawali) is the biggest and the brightest of all Hindu festivals. It's the festival of lights which literally illumines the country with its brilliance, brightness and dazzles all with its joy.

Diwali (Dipavali in Sanskrit) means row of lamps is a Hindu festival of lights, which is celebrated every autumn in the northern hemisphere (spring in southern hemisphere). During the celebration, temples, homes, shops and office buildings are brightly illuminated.

Why Do we Celebrate Diwali?

Diwali is celebrated to honor Ram Chandra, the seventh avatar (incarnation of the god Vishnu). On this day Ram returned after 14 years of exile during which he fought and won a battle against the demon king, Ravana.

People lit their houses to celebrate his victory over evil (light over darkness). The goddess of happiness and good fortune, Lakshmi, also figures into the celebration. It is believed that she roams the Earth on this day and enters the house that is pure, clean, and bright.

Diwali is usually celebrated eighteen days after the Dussehra. The cleaning of houses, painting walls, decorating every entry with colors and decorating every corner of the house with row of lights etc, clearing away the unnecessary elements and old clutter from your surroundings are the activities we enthusiastically look forward to doing every year when Diwali comes.

Remember that to make space for new things in life, you must be willing to let go of old junk and broken down items that are beyond repair. Many Hindus associate the festival with Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity, and wife of  Lord Vishnu.

Similar to the Thanksgiving festival in the United States, it’s the time of the year when people come home to spend time together as a family. Thank God for these people in your life and let them know that you care on a regular basis. This is what makes the world go around.

On Diwali evening we worship Lakshmi, Ganesh and Saraswati. Bring out your silver coins and offer them to bless your wealth. Seek abundance as well as spiritual wealth and guidance in finding your lakshya, or true purpose in this life.
A festival full of sweet childhood memories,
A sky full of lights,
Mouth full of sweets,
And heart full of joy.
Wishing You All A Very Happy Diwali!
In some parts of India, the day after Diwali is marked with the Govardhan Puja and Diwali Padva, which is dedicated to the relationship between wife and husband.

Wish u and your family a very HAPPY DIWALI and a PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR! May God fulfill all your dreams and bless you with health, wealth and happiness.

Why Laughing & Cracking appropriate jokes at work works well?

Duration To Read: 4 Minutes.

Remember: Just Don't offend someone.

Research revealed that when colleagues at work laugh together, it can increase their productivity and innovation at workplace.

In Harvard Business School, researchers have found that people recognize those who have a tendency for humor as more competent and confident than those who don’t feel as comfortable telling jokes.

There were two experiments conducted:

In first, the researchers asked around 150 participants to analyse testimonials of a fictional company. The first testimonial was deliberately meant to be serious and the second to be funny.
